Paging & Music
The LogiSon Acoustic Network provides sound masking, paging and music through the same set of loudspeakers. Each Network Control Panel accepts up to three line-level inputs, including any combination of microphone, music or telephone sources.
Minimal audio requirements
There is no need to add sound generators, amplifiers or equalizers. The technology is already integrated into the Network’s Primary Hubs. This high-level component integration reduces the typical costs, energy and space requirements for audio equipment.
Advanced zoning and adjustment capabilities
The LogiSon Acoustic Network’s paging zones are software-generated, not hardwired. Paging volume, equalization, and sound masking settings are independent. Volume adjustments can be made in precise 0.5 dBA increments, over a range of 35 to 85 dBA. Each Primary Hub includes a 1/1-octave equalizer for paging output. Adjustments are possible for small-zone sizes of 1 to 3 loudspeakers (225 to 675 ft2), and changes to zoning and settings are immediate - with no need to access the ceiling or alter cabling.
Comprehensive control options
Central Control
A centrally-located Network Control Panel provides precise control over all settings for a single loudspeaker, a group of loudspeakers, or the entire Network. The Control Panel can be wall-mounted in any location.
A PC equipped with Acoustic Network™ Manager Software communicates with the Network when linked to the Network Control Panel via Ethernet. A user can manage up to 37,000 loudspeakers (8 million square feet) from one location. The PC’s larger screen displays more information simultaneously, allowing greater adjustment than available with the Network Control Panel.
Room Control
A Programmable Keypad and accompanying Remote Control can adjust or mute the sound masking and/or paging volume in a defined area of the LogiSon Acoustic Network, such as a private office or conference room.
Page Director™ Software
Paging systems often limit the physical area for paging to a small number of predefined zones. These zones are hardwired and each loudspeaker is assigned to a single one. With Page Director™ Software, the possibilities are endless.
The software is installed on a single PC within the workplace, typically at the reception desk. It lets the user create, alter or delete an unlimited number of page zones on demand. No changes in wiring are required, allowing updates in seconds.
A straightforward interface shows the location of the loudspeakers. Users can select loudspeakers, name the zone, and enter a description for future reference. Paging is possible at a single loudspeaker location, or over any given range of loudspeakers.
Priority page feature
When the Priority Page feature is activated, the announcement plays over all loudspeakers at a pre-programmed volume. Sound masking can run or be muted during this page.
